Colchester swears in new registrars

Republican Registrar Sheila Tortorigi and Democratic Registrar Karen Romero were sworn in Jan. 5 during a small ceremony at the Colchester Town Hall. 
First Selectman Mary Bylone was present while Town Clerk, Gayle Furman swore in each Registrar. Due to restrictions from COVID-19, what would have normally been a ceremony with guests was a private event.  ....
