Leading San Francisco into oakland. A chp officer and partner, were in a squad car, squad car since left the scene, responding to a call here. If you see in the foreground the purple gloves, thats where we believe the officer was worked on before they rushed him to the hospital with one stab wound. Were not sure if the homeless encampment beyond that where the tents are at, not sure if that was related in is call they were put on. We did speak with a colleague who he knows the man but doesnt know what the call was. He said hes a young man with a family and, again, he has been rushed to San Francisco general with a stab wound, after being stabbed here by another man along the onramp. The suspect did run away but caught a couple blocks away at 4th and bryant at a local Wells Fargo Bank. Other people for my pack through a change community. I have to make sure the senate seat stays progressive, that is so critical and i want to help our democratic candidate for president make history. Boxer was born in new york but moved to california with her husband in 1965 taking her u. S. Senate seat in january of 1993 after serving ten years in the house of representatives. Before that she was actually a marin county supervisor for six years, making history at the local level as the boards first female president. Senator boxer served on ethics Foreign Relations where she chairs the First Committee to focus on global womans issues. We spoke to libby schaaf who calls boxer a pioneer in politics especially for women. Its women like senator Barbara Boxer that made women like me know that it was possible to have leadership positions in politics. When senator boxer endorsed me in my race to be oaklands mayor, she hand wrote her endorsement speech and at the end of that speech she handed
