A portrait of Jacinda Ardern has been placed in a corridor in Parliament where artistic impressions of former Prime Ministers are put on display.
The portrait, an impression of the iconic photograph of Ardern wearing a hijab in the wake of the 2019 Christchurch terror attack, is located in the Whip s corridor in Parliament. The Whip s corridor, where it currently hangs, is a traditional place for artistic portraits of Prime Ministers, as opposed to the official photo portraits which hang in the Speaker s Corridor, Gonzalez-Montero told Newshub.
