The analysis of BSE500 index suggests that 20 stocks were able to triple investors wealth or better to say delivered up to 200 per cent returns to the investors.
Investor's lost a total of Rs 13.57 lakh crore from their kitty as the total market capitalization of all the BSE-listed companies tanked to Rs 371.69 lakh crore, compared to Rs 385.64 lakh crore in the previous trading session.
The 30-share pack BSE Sensex dropped about 617 points, or 0.83 per cent to settle at 73,502.64. NSE's Nifty50 tanked about 161 points, or 0.72 per cent to end the session at 22,332.65.
The 30-share pack BSE Sensex surged 305.09 points, or 0.42 per cent, to 73,095.22, while NSE's Nifty50 index jumped 76.30 points, or 0.34 per cent, to end at 22,198.35 for the day.
