Pune: After a long wait, Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation is all set to start its parking policy in the town from next month.
The policy has been approved by the standing committee of PCMC on February 4 and work directions are expected to be issued to contractors in seven days. According to the proposal, parking charges would be Rs 5/hour for two and three-wheelers, Rs 10 for cars and tempos, Rs 25 for trucks and minibuses and Rs 100 for private buses and heavy vehicles.
