Deal. i hear you that this may make them more provocative and may do more things. that s okay. it s a cost i m okay with. with china i m helping them. i know what you are saying. i know we will be at odds with them on korea that they don t want a democratic state. i m okay with that volatility. what s the plus/minus on that? it s not about common values. trump sees the world more than any president we have experienced. and the israelis are on our side. they are winning. the palestinians from his perspective have chosen motto be willing to engage with the united states on our terms. they are losers. the iranians decided that they weren t going to work more closely with the u.s. on other issues like ballistic missiles, support for terrorists and proxy wars against us and our allies. trump s willingness to divide the world into winners and losers. if you lose you don t count.

Looking at today with the u.s. embassy opening. i think it was a nonstrategic move by which trump is supposed to be the master of the art of the deal. it is rare to make a major concession to one side without getting something from the other. this has been a prize. 86 countries recognize israel. this is a very big gift to israel. you would normally imagine that if it were part of a larger strategic plan you would ask the israelis to do a certain number of things, settlement freezes, whatever it is. instead it has been a pretty lop sighed thing. the reason the other countries haven t moved embassies is jerusalem is the capital of israel. i have no quarrel with that politically on the ground or morally. the reason the countries haven t done it is because through palestinian claims. they claim it as their capital. a very large number of palestinian arabs live there.
They don t believe in apologies and easy to assume that the president of the united states was okay with this being said about john mccain. what does this mean about where we are with this administration. joining me now mark mckennen. i was pushing to have you on here because i don t believe this is about partisanship or left versus right. there has always been a line of decency. you don t mock people when they are in the health battle of their life. when it happens, if it happens, it s a layup for the administration. we demean this comment. we reject it. we will be better than this and you move on. not here. that is what is so surprising. it s pretty easy to knock it down. you just stand up, address it, lay it down. a couple of things. one is that the comments
They are not going back to those borders without well, and that s certainly what israel says. but obama i m explaining what may have happened to everybody out there. but the obama administration has already publicly talked about pre- 67 boundaries. yep. and talk about provocative, to the israelis that s a hell of a lot more provocative than the building of settlements. they go hand in hand, don t they? it s them basically saying we re not talking about 67 borders. forget about 67 borders. we re talking about the borders beyond where we are now. we pointed this out earlier, it is their one bargaining chip. this is the one thing they can negotiate, which is, a, settlement freezes. b, giving back some of the land, and so when they are moving forward, they are basically saying we re not trusting where we are now in the process. all right. all right. a couple more news stories
