To give him a lot of soft stuff like that, i mean, arthur was a hard hitter. he had to change his own game to be able to do that. set point for connors. and then jimmy came back. connors makes a return of service. connors did get his act together, and he won the third set. and that would have been the moment that so many people would have reverted to what was natural to them. in a moment of panic, they might have thought, oh, i can t keep this up. i can t keep this up. i m going to go back to hitting the ball as hard as i can.
