Political parties need to demonstrate greater commitment towards promoting women candidates in politics, says Minister for Health and Medical Services Ifereimi Waqainabete.
He expressed this view while officiating at the Not the Cost and Think 10 session yesterday.
“The society needs to embrace women candidates and we have observed that women themselves do not support or vote for women candidates which is an unfortunate tragedy,” he said.
