We have a death as a result of vehicle verses pedestrian type of collision. The driver drove away, didnt try to contact anyone to render aid to the victim, never called 911. We are trying to identity who this driver is. Reporter police spent about four hours taking measurements, gathering evidence. There was little activity at the intersection and witnesses were difficult to come by due to the early hour. At 6 40 the coroner removed the body of the victim from the roadway. During the day the intersection is a bustling hub of activity with pedestrians, cars, buses, bikes and scooters headed in all directions. The design is purposeful and organized.
