Dr. Edgar Michael Eufemio, Ms. Maria Louzel Diaz-Tiozon, and Dr. Sergie Paul Hernandez were vaccinated at the Cardinal Santos Medical Center (CSMC) after 300 jabs of the vaccine were delivered to the hospital, signalling the start of San Juan City’s vaccination drive.
San Juan City Mayor Francisco Zamora said another 300 doses of the vaccine will be delivered to the San Juan Medical Center for the medical frontliners.
“The vaccine rollout comes at a very significant time as almost 1 year ago, March 6, 2020, the DOH confirmed to me the first local transmission in the Philippines was a patient from Cardinal Santos Medical Center.” Zamora said in his statement posted on Facebook. ....
