Jasmine Phinex, a mother and entrepreneur, her husband James and their 4-year-old daughter Serenity last year founded Serenity Nail Polish. Last year, during the pandemic, the idea of starting up a new business came to the family unexpectedly. Jasmine and her daughter had been spending more time together at home doing things that Serenity adores like getting her nails painted.
One day, Serenity wanted to purchase some more new nail polish for herself after running out. When her mother asked her where they should buy it from, she courageously answered, “Let’s go to the Serenity Nail Polish store.” It was then that her mother comprehended that it was time to launch their own brand and name it after her daughter.
