When asked whether the violence may be connected to the nationwide rash of
anti-Asian hate crimes, Atlanta Police Chief Bryant said investigators are still speaking to witnesses and it was too early to speculate on any motives.

The religious zealot accused of killing eight people in a string of shootings at massage parlors in Georgia on Tuesday night had sexual addiction issues and may have frequented some of his targets, authorities said Wednesday.
Robert Aaron Long, 21, of Woodstock, Georgia, was caught on video Tuesday night at three metro Atlanta massage parlors where he killed eight people including six Asian women, police said. Long was eventually nabbed on a highway two hours south of the Georgia city following a police chase, authorities said.
