We did that through an exhibition on Dolores Huerta, who was on Cesar Chavezs words, the coarchitect of the Farm Workers strike with him. She was instrumental to achievements of the movement that gave dignity and improved the condition of migrant Farm Workers. Their first independent operation, to visit a few key locations and to learn about the battle of Saint Mihiel, Saint Mihiel was a town inside of bulge in the 400 mile trenches of the western front that the germans had occupied since 1914. To begin the story, heres a portion of 1960 u. S. Army film that gives a brief sketch of the operation.
