Today the president s focus as we understand it from a white house official, will be on lowering health care costs, something he talked about during the state of the Union Address and will reiterate today, highlighting in particular his call on congress to make some changes to enact some policies that he believes would Lower Health Care costs, proposals that are in the president s budget that was released today, the 2025 budget. In particular, theres one portion of the president s policy plan that would reduce rather, cap costs for prescription drugs, theyre drugs that are already capped for people wh
These women come forward 20, 30 years later. they re either not going to be believed. they re going to be saying that they they asked for it, and they re complainer types. or they re going to get punished. and when you see a president of the united states get elected and even actually admitted that he sexually harasses women, what what avenue does a woman have? and that s why i believe men have to step up. how do you think this is going to change and will it change the town? and is it fair to say when those on the outside say hey, we get accused in washington, we protect our own. right. do you think there was a sense hollywood was protecting its own here a little bit? no, no. by the way, i don t think hollywood at large has any no one is shedding a tear about harvey weinstein. he didn t have a lot of friends. he wasn t a good guy generally. people didn t like him, anyway. but why was all this tolerated?
Culture in a positive way and i think they do, i think there were movies that helped the cause of race relations in this country, i think shifting attitudes towards gays and gay marriages in some sense hollywood had something to do with that. but then you have to look at yourselves and say maybe this other stuff we re making with just mind numbing violence is also affecting people. it bothers me that they want it both ways. there were great movies, dumb and dumber made an impact on education in america. that s right. that s right. julie? well, you have a problem infringing the second amendment. if you tell hollywood they can t do do something, that s an ing fringement on their first amendment. hollywood movies are all over the world. they watch our movies all over the world. the gun violence is not as vast in some parts of the world as here. i can t help but think that hollywood probably doesn t have much to do with it and we can t
