Take down 16 maintenance workers, officers and prisoners as each returns to the warehouse after lunch. the whole time, from the self-extraction from the unit, was done as peacefully as possible. we hurt the officers very little. it could have been a blood bath. we could have been out of there in 30 minutes instead of 2 1/2 hours. we took time to take these people and do it gently. at 1:40 three men prepare a prison truck for the escape, harper, murphy and newbury act under the pretense of installing security monitors. george and larry were wearing clothing we had taken from the maintenance workers. myself and newbury were dressed as inmates. murphy and newbury are left to finish the installation work. rivas and harper exit the gate house, still disguised as maintenance workers are given access to the gun tower.
