throughout the region as a result of tropical storm hil hillary. well we have seen at least one rescue in ventura country, no reports of any reports of death or serious injury. in the middle of this historic storm, something that has not happened in los angeles since 1989, 84 years, folks in the region were rattled by an earthquake. seismologist x estimate it was 5.1 and followed by other aftershocks and i can tell you being at home trying to get your head around the storm and you get an alert on your phone that there s an earthquake to take cover come the house was swaying for a moment back left and right. very unnerving. as far as the damage from the storm, we will get a better idea once the sun comes out later on in the afternoon and throughout the morning as crews get to drive throughout the region and get a grasp of how bad it was for southern california. back to you. steve: a lot of rain. jeff, thank you.
