JAY - The annual town meeting for Jay was held by secret ballot vote, and 351 voters weighed decisions at the ballot boxes on Tuesday, April 23. Terry Bergeron was reelected for First Selectperson with 292 votes, against eight write-in votes and 51 blank ballots. Thomas Goding was reelected for Second Selectperson with 278 votes,

I am writing to strongly endorse Jeff Tarbox for Second Selectperson of Westport Island.
As a fellow member of the Westport Island Broadband and Cable Committee – which is only one of the numerous island committees Jeff serves on – I can attest to Jeff’s thoughtful and effective leadership style, ability to organize and successfully manage complicated projects from start to finish. I directly witnessed Jeff’s relevant skills over the last year while the Broadband and Cable Committee completed the many significant steps required to apply for a ConnectMaine broadband infrastructure grant. I can confidently say Jeff is the right candidate for Second Selectperson.
