In honour of Nuyda’s 75th birthday, his daughter Ayni established the Search Mindscape Foundation in hopes of fostering a stronger engagement and collaboration between and among Filipino creatives. To help widen the reach of this mission, the Foundation linked up with Adefuin Design Studio and Sigvard Selections to launch Art Unbound, an online exhibition showcasing 12 artworks by Nuyda done by the artist during his time in quarantine. He transformed his home into a realm of fractal worlds, bringing to life what may very well be one of the most definitive collections of his storied career.
Among the artworks exhibited was a self-portrait titled The World As My Eyes See It, in which the central figure is a large eye.
