here s what happened. they re asking a judge to decide whether or not governor carnell and other governors like the governor scott in florida, governor christie in new jersey, governor walker in wisconsin, are correct in saying since the law is unconstitutional we don t have to comply with it. this gets into the wees. here s why. the plaintiffs in this case, who are 27 of the states, some of the governors names whose names i just mentioned, asked judge vincent to sign an order enjoining stopping the obama administration from enforcing the statute while it makes its way through the courts. he declined to sign such an order. as a result of that, different states have taken different positions. some states have said well, this is a ruling that only applies in the geographical area where judge vincent sits, northern florida. some states have said no, he declared it unconstitutional so it doesn t apply anywhere in the u.s., so the justice department has asked him to clarify. this will fo
