New York City is doubling the capacity to administer monkeypox vaccine shots as five new vaccine clinics are opening. The city also announced that it plans to open a clinic in the heart of Times Square.
The Health Department says it received another 26,000 doses of the JYNNEOS vaccine this week and new appointments for July 24th through August 13th will be made available starting on Friday at 6 p.m.
