we first brought to the nation s attention on this program yesterday. a suburban chicago school district is very much on the hot seat after pulling the plug on a team trip to a girl s basketball tournament in arizona. why? because the school objects to the state s new immigration law. the girls have been raising money for months to pay for this trip. they are paying for it themselves. they didn t ask for a school district hand out. now the district assistant superintendent says they can t go saying arizona s immigration law is, quote, not aligned with our beliefs and values. and now former alaska governor sarah palin, a former high school basketball player herself is weighing in saying the girls deserve to go. even if they kind of have to do this on their own, if the girls have to go rogue, girls. and by the way, sarah palin joins us live on this program in just a little bit to discuss it live. mike tobin is live in highland park, illinois. mike, you have been out at this
