DOZENS of schools open to the children of key workers have been forced to shut their doors following heavy snowfall earlier today.
Durham County Council has issued a full list of school closures which have been caused due to adverse weather conditions.

Annfield Plain Infant School 
The school will close on Thursday, 14 January 2021 (All day) and re-open on Friday, 15 January 2021 (Morning). Reason for closure: Due to the heavy snowfall overnight and the daily forecast, school will be closed to those who would have been accessing it. Online working will be available for all as normal. Apologies for any inconvenience.  ....
