The Rotary Club of Schaumburg Hoffman Estates, is proud to announce that it has successfully raised an impressive $120,000 at their most recent Classic fundraiser, on May 6th, to contribute towards empowering high school graduates and supporting local non-profit organizations.
For more than three decades, Georgios and Georgene Avgeris dished out tasty and filling fare at the Uptown Cafe in Arlington Heights. But they also seasoned it with plenty of love for their loyal customers. And that is why it came as such a shock when an announcement was placed on the front of the restaurant announcing their deaths, within days of each other.
