New grant program facilitates art-driven public service campaigns

The Santa Barbara County Office of Arts and Culture has announced a grant program to hire local artists to create art-driven campaigns focused on public health, emergency preparedness, civic engagement, or social justice.

"Sunflowers on State" public art exhibit coming to State Street in March

Come March, residents will be able to walk down State Street in downtown Santa Barbara and see six larger-than-life sunflower sculptures blooming.
