The Missouri women’s basketball team improved to 3-0 in Southeastern Conference play Thursday, edging the Alabama Crimson Tide for a 66-65 win. The Tigers fell behind 16-7 following a 3-pointer by Alabama’s Megan Abrams with 3:44 left in first quarter. Missouri then ended the quarter on a 10-3 run, getting a short jumper from Ashton Judd with four seconds left in the quarter to make the score 19-17.
The Missouri women’s basketball team is returning home, looking to capitalize on momentum. The Tigers won both games of the Arizona State Classic, 71-66 against UMass and 71-60 against Arizona State, last weekend. Now Missouri will return to Mizzou Arena looking for its fourth consecutive win.
