these protests that we re seeing across the country represent the rage a significant part of the country has over the uncertainty they feel with president-elect donald trump taking office in two months. you could hear the chanting throughout most many major cities throughout the country. and although most of the protests were peaceful.the demonstrations escalateto in portland, oregon. officers had to start physically pushing people back, and used flash bombs and some form of gas to get the crowds under control. in once case, demonstrators were physically threatened. this man came out of his portland apartment and pointed a gun at the protesters after he said they broke his window. thankfully no one was hurt.but demonstrators across the country say violent protesters do not represent what they stand for. and take a look at president-elect donald trump has already reacted to protests against his presidency. here s what he said. just had a very open and successful presidential
