over the last few weeks.criminals have been targeting shoppers at the publix stores in plant city.by stealing their wallets right out of the cart. here s a look at the culprits police say have been preying on innocent shoppers. officials say between october 28th and november 13th, these two women and this man would come into the store and casually strike up a conversation with someone they felt would be an easy target. once they had the shopper distracted.just like that, one of the thieves would steal the victim s wallet right out of the cart. it s very important advice to keep in mind to let your guard down. but you ve got to look out for your safety at all times.especially this time of year around the holidays when there might be more crooks out looking to take advantage of you. police here in plant city also have some advice for extended families and adult loved ones to help protect the elderly. we ll talk about that coming up at 5:30. back to you. president-elect donald t
