Share: May 06, 2021 The Second Conference of State Parties to the African Charter on the Values and Principles of Public Service and Administration (COSP II) ends today 29 April 2021 by Videoconference. The main objective of the COSP II is to consolidate progress made since the first COSP and to foster cooperation and solidarity among State Parties in the implementation of the Charter. In her remarks, H.E. Professor Sarah Anyang, Commissioner for Human Resources, Science and Technology, representing H.E. Amb. Bankole Adeoye, Commissioner for Political Affairs, Peace and Security, welcomed all Ministers and Delegates and thanked them for making time out of their busy schedules to be a part of the meeting which began on April 27th with the experts meeting. African Union awards three outstanding education innovations Source: Xinhua| Editor: huaxia Video PlayerClose ADDIS ABABA, Dec. 30 (Xinhua) The African Union (AU) has awarded three outstanding education innovations including a project used during the COVID-19. During the Innovating Education in Africa Pitch Event 2020, the innovations were awarded grants of 60,000, 40,000, and 20,000 U.S. dollars according to their ranks, said the 55-member pan-African bloc in a statement on Wednesday. The grants would be used to undertake pilot projects in collaboration with AU member states, it said, indicating that one of the innovations aimed to help teachers and parents during the COVID-19. The innovations include BAG (Building A Generation), which is a gamified platform that offers real-time access to experience-based learning for university students; Learnable, which is a teaching assistant that allows teachers to compose and distribute lessons via a dedicate ....
