Based on the 1964 story When this man dies by Lawrence Block, If Something Happens is a delightful mystery drama. The film revolves around a young woman named Julie Reynolds, who is trying to survive in the big city and receives anonymous emails promising her money, if something happens to a stranger (meaning, if they die).
Written by Sara Beinat and Rajiv Whabi, the plot of the film is unquestionably intriguing. The writers pen a compelling script, layering out, (in a way exposing) different emotions, virtues, and motives of the human race.
