Following a convincing victory over the Arizona Coyotes on Wednesday, the Wild will embark on a weekend back-to-back set against the San Jose Sharks at Xcel Energy Center beginning Friday night.
Minnesota got outstanding performances from veterans up and down the lineup last time out, getting a three-point effort from Nick Bonino, two goals from Mats Zuccarello, a goal and an assist from Zach Parise and two assists from Marcus Johnansson.
Much of that damage was done on the power play, with the Wild scoring three times with the man advantage, moving Minnesota up even further in the leaguewide rankings.
