The british Prime Minister has been meeting his cabinet and mps as he tries to secure enough support for his brexit deal ahead of saturdays crucial vote in the house of commons. Borisjohnson says theres no better outcome than the deal he has negotiated but he needs 320 votes to get it passed with only 287 voting conservative mps. That means he must persuade members from across the house to support him, including labour rebels, ex conservatives, and brexiteers in his own party. The deal would see the uk pay around £33 billion pounds in a so called divorce bill when leaving. Eu and uk citizens will retain their residency and Social Security rights. And a transition period, during which time the uk would abide by the eus laws, would last at least, until the end of 2020. The Health Select committee has published a report, which it hopes will provide evidence for future debates about the law.
