This Saturday, May 18 will mark the first time this year that stakes racing from The Meadowlands will be shown to a national television audience as FOX Sports will broadcast live The Big M's first major event of the season, the $145,150 USD Arthur J. Cutler Memorial for open trotters.
The extraordinary has now become commonplace at The Meadowlands, as once again, Saturday night business last week at The Big M was over the top, leaving no reason to believe that the string of super Saturdays won’t continue this weekend, when racing is conducted on the usual Friday-Saturday (Feb. 16-17) schedule with a first-race post time of 6:20 p.m.
The Meadowlands is always the place to play because of the many action options offered at the multi-faceted facility that offers sports betting, horse race simulcasting and, of course, live world-class harness racing.
With a shot of warm air coming to the region, temperatures will be exceeding seasonal averages with readings expected in the 10 degree range this weekend, which is the perfect time for fans to head to The Meadowlands and sample a smorgasbord of possibilities.
