Indian security forces are planning to deploy unmanned weaponized marine boats and undersea drone swarms to bolster security measures along the Indian coastline and the strategically significant Pangong Lake in eastern Ladakh. The Indian Navy has approved the acquisition of 12 autonomous weaponized boat swarms, which will provide tactical advantages in underwater and surface warfare. These boats have advanced cameras, radar tracking systems, and can be controlled remotely. They are capable of running for 48 hours on a single tank of fuel and offer 360-degree situational awareness.
