Lt. Gen. Vicente Danao Jr., PNP Officer in Charge, said cops have been deployed to checkpoints. "We adhere to the mandate of Interior Secretary Benhur Abalos and to halt the possible escape of the gunmen," Danao said in a statement on Saturday.
