HDFC Bank Ltd fell 1.02% today to trade at Rs 1493.85. The S&P BSE BANKEX index is down 0.28% to quote at 39514.11. The index is up 9.69 % over last one month. Among the other constituents of the index, RBL Bank Ltd decreased 0.55% and Federal Bank Ltd lost 0.46% on the day. The S&P BSE BANKEX index went up 98.47 % over last one year compared to the 65.84% surge in benchmark SENSEX.

On the BSE, 31752 shares were traded in the counter so far compared with average daily volumes of 3.51 lakh shares in the past one month. The stock hit a record high of Rs 1650 on 24 Feb 2021. The stock hit a 52-week low of Rs 826 on 19 May 2020.

NEW DELHI: S&P BSE Bankex stocks were trading on a positive note at 12:56PM (IST) on Wednesday. Shares of Federal Bank (up 2.4 per cent), Bandhan Bank (up 1.91 per cent), HDFC Bank (up 1.84 per cent), Axis Bank (up 1.77 per cent) and
State Bank of India (up 1.58 per cent) were among the top gainers. While Kotak Mahindra Bank (down 0.15 per cent) was the sole loser in the index. The S&P BSE Bankex index was trading 1.07 per cent up at 39917.94 around 12:56PM. Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 112.65 points at 14820.45, while the BSE Sensex was up 283.81 points at 50035.22. Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 25 were trading in the green, while 24 were in the red.
