His business’s tagline is to “keep the community going,” regardless of whether or not he gets anything in return for it.
That’s how Russ Crosby, owner of Russ’s Wrench Auto Repair in Clinton, explained his annual tradition of gathering his staff to clean and beautify the Welcome to Clinton signs posted around the community.
“As a business owner, and specifically in the automotive industry, my job is to fill a need,” Crosby said. “You’re pulling into one of the most beautiful towns in the nation . and all of these signs are depicting this beautiful Red Mill. But the areas around them and the signs are a little dirty. ....
