Please join me in supporting Prop 3, Gorham Free Library funding; Prop 4, Middlesex Reading Center funding; and Prop 5, Rushville Reading Center funding. The Rushville and Middlesex libraries require funding to meet chartering standards and to be in compliance with the New York State Education Department, while Gorham is looking to consolidate and to create consistent stable support and to expand services. The reading centers stand to lose valuable services and support if they cannot meet these standards, including possible closure.
