Are in New Jersey and at least 4. 5 million people are still under Flood Warnings at this hour as swollen rivers continue to present a danger to so many residents. Weve already seen thousands of people in multiple states being rescued from the high waters. Millions of others are now beginning to clean up the debris, clearing out their flooded basements, trying to move downed trees, many of them off of their cars. Lets get the very latest, what it looks like today with cnns polo sandoval. Hes live in one Hardhit Community in New Jersey. Hey there, polo. Reporter hey, kate. Some of the hardest work is just getting started for so many residents here in New Jersey. Weve driven and walked these streets and you see those scenes weve seen in the past with other similar incidents where you have people putting out their belongings that were destroyed out on the curb and then there were some that lost their homes altogether. You see the house behind me or what was left of the house behind me. Th

Could get . Dixie is has already burned 1400 square miles of land. Dixie has destroyed nearly 600 homes. Its only about half contained at the moment. It is the second largest fire in california history. The Caldor Fire just outside of Lake Tahoe has destroyed even more homes. At least 622 homes and counting. It is raging right now toward even more populated areas. Only about 25 of the Caldor Fire is contained. Both of those fires have multiple Evacuation Orders and warnings in place. The Fire Season is just unrelenting and merciless. Firefighters working in basically inhuman conditions now for weeks on end fighting unprecedented fire after unprecedented fire. Just a huge devotion of resources, human and otherwise, and so far no end in sight. In the northeast we have watched all day as the Death Toll has climbed from the floods that left behind by the trailing ends of Hurricane Ida Last Night. This is Hurricane Idas remnants hitting the most densely populated part of the country. As it

The first time ever has declared a Flash Flood Emergency in new York City as one tornado touched down in New Jersey. Others in pennsylvania, New York and maryland. Kind of weather, john, that this place never sees. No, we just dont see something quite like this. Again, nine deaths now up here, which is more than when Hurricane Ida Hit Louisiana as far as we know. We may learn more from louisiana and mississippi, but nine deaths from what was a really bad rainstorm here tells you just how catastrophic it is. And i have to say its not surprising based on what ive seen on my way in here to you, which has been a little bit of an odyssey this morning. Trees down everywhere. Cars smashed from the trees. Hopefully no one left in the cars. And then really, just cars abandoned everywhere. Clearly people were caught in this, didnt expect it Last Night. They were out on the roads. The parkways the highways, and couldnt do anything. They got either their cars lite literally got swept away or they

After that ruling in 1973, the very first Abortion Clinic to open its doors in the great State Of Texas was a clinic in the city of mcallen. Mcallen is a small city on the very southern tip of texas, right on the border with mexico. The first Abortion Clinic in texas opened there in 1973, and it served women in the valley, in that part of texas for decades. Even as anti abortion republicans started to cement their control of the government in texas, and year after year they devised ever more creative and draconian ways to make abortion as hard and thats dangerous to get as possible in texas, that clinic in mcallen kept going. And republicans really did keep passing more and more restrictive laws making it more impossible for clinics to stay open, making it more impossible for doctors to keep providing that service in recent years. Texas republicans passed new Abortion Restrictio
