Ruin Creek Cruise-In returns to Henderson

HENDERSON — Classic and collector cars will pack the parking lot at the old Charles Boyd Cadillac location beside the U.S. 158 Bypass for the Ruin Creek Cruise-In on Saturday evening, with proceeds benefiting the Ruin Creek Animal Protection Society. Brandon Boyd, the founder and president of the Ruin Creek Animal Protection Society, said that the Cruise-In combines two of his lifelong passions. He is eagerly looking forward to seeing Vance County residents enjoy the festivities and support homeless animals. “Admission is free to everyone participating in the Cruise-In, but donations are appreciated and will be accepted,” Boyd said. “We’re going to have food vendors and Petty’s Garage there, so this is going to be a good time. We’re received phone calls from people all the way down in Florida inquiring about this event.”
