Concert In The Park series turns 30

Music lovers are invited to enjoy another four performances of the much-loved and popular Sunday evening Concert In The Park series during its 30th anniversary season. The shows will take place at Sala Bhirom Bhakdi in Lumpini Park, Rama IV Road, this Sunday and Feb 5, 12 and 19, starting at 5.30pm.

Maxim Vengerov to perform with Royal Bangkok Symphony Orchestra

Under the patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana Rajakanya, the Royal Bangkok Symphony Orchestra Foundation, in collaboration with B.Grimm and the Tourism Authority of Thailand, is thrilled to present the most exciting of concerts on Monday 12th December at 7:30 pm in the Main Hall of the Thailand Cultural Centre. Russian virtuoso Maxim Vengerov – regarded by many as the greatest living violinist – is visiting the Kingdom of Thailand to perform Prokofiev's Violin Concerto No. 1 in D major Op. 19 and Ravel's Tzigane for Violin and Orchestra with the Royal Bangkok Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of English conductor Douglas Bostock.

After his sold-out Bangkok debut performance six years ago, Polish concert pianist Krystian Zimerman will make his second highly-anticipated appearance with the Royal Bangkok Symphony Orchestra for a performance of Beethoven's Piano Concerto No.4, in the Main Hall of Thailand Cultural Centre, Ratchadaphisek Road, on Nov 22 at 8pm.
