The association is affiliated with the Indian Embassy of Kuwait, with about 5,000 registered members. For the past 21 years, Tulu Koota Kuwait is at the forefront, focusing on charity projects or programs that add value to the welfare activities in Kuwait and India. Recently the association has won the prestigious Karnataka State Tulu Sahitya Academy Award for the year 2020 for its outstanding contribution to society.
