Honoring those who led the fight for justice on transit in San Francisco. Today were recognizing charlotte l. Brown and mary ellen white. Brown was the first to legally challenge racial segregation in the United States when she filed a lawsuit against San Francisco Street Car Company in the 1860s after she was forceablely removed from a street car, and

She sued the company, won, and was awarded the sum of 5,000 in 1854, which i imagine was quite a bit at that time in our countrys history. Wall street is set to reopen this morning after suffering the worst Christmas Eve declines ever. And its been just a terrible december. Markets fell after the Trump Administration sent out confusing signals about markets and the economy and liquidity in the financial system. No one was worried about that until this administration brought it up. Futures are higher right now, but lets watch all of this volatility. Wall streets christmas route also spilled into markets around the world. A terrible day yesterday in asia. And then a bounce back for the nikkei. Hang seng and shanghai all right right now. The paris and ftse down, in paris, the average up a bit. A lo
