Cubs lineup: Suburban Stars
This one is dedicated to Cathy, my wife, who died yesterday at age 68. During our 48 years together, 46 of them married, she learned far more about sports in general and the Cubs in particular than she ever cared to know. But she loved it just the same, because she loved me. She fell asleep in the ninth inning of Game 7 of the 2016 World Series, but woke up in time to see Kris Bryant s throw to Anthony Rizzo.
