Care that much about what the proposals are that they re putting forward, or is it as much if not more about kind of the cult of personality when you have people like donald trump and even ron desantis on the ballot? i think it s three things, i think overall i think voters in general not just republican voters but overall with voters there s a personality but just because they re sick and tired of everybody letting them down in washington. so first and foremost that s why donald trump got elected the first time, it s why he was the nominee, why he was on track potentially to be the nominee as well. they have had it with everybody and to the extent somebody even on the other side, bernie sanders, that s why he had the traction he had even though he is not a typical candidate. just not happy with people who make promises and don t deliver. one is personality and the other two closely follow, what are you going to do with that, not just you are against the status quo and the swamp, but
A lot of the money that his chief opponent, the front runner, donald trump, and his groups have spent, at least early on, was to define desantis and not in a flattering way. i think they made a big mistake by spending all that money against me. i don t think it had its intended effect. we have a pac i can t control it but i imagine they will start lighting up the airwaves with good stuff about me and that s going to give us a great lift so we look forward to that. if one were to have one. do you guys remember the pop up video from vh 1. yes. i remember vh 1. if there was a thought bubble it was like, come on, guys, start spending the money because he can t speak to them. he s also trying to say that don t worry we re going to get there. the question is is it too late? i mean, there are certainly examples in past elections where the answer is no it s not too late. what did we learn from 2016
