For a time, group of demonstrators stood in a line across from Law Enforcement near eighth and broadway. We did not see any confrontations from our vantage point. In redwood city, another line of officers blocked testers from getting onto highway 101 about 90 minutes ago. The demonstration has been going on since 4 00 this afternoon. It was organized by Silicon Valley black lives matter. It has been largely peaceful. We did see some people being detained. They said they arrested a person carrying a concealed machete.
