Carter Bankshares, Inc.: Carter Bank & Trust Gives Back Through Magical Moments of CARE Campaign Bank contributed more than $23,000 to 35 non-profit organizations. MARTINSVILLE, VA / ACCESSWIRE / March 17, 2021 / Carter Bank & Trust recently contributed more than $23,000 to 35 local non-profit organizations throughout its footprint, as part of its Magical Moments of CARE campaign. Carter Bank & Trust donated $10 for each new personal and business checking account opened October - December 2020, to one of 35 non-profits in the communities it serves. Lifestyle brand to open store in River District, give profits back to charity

Last year, the Moss family launched a lifestyle brand called Head Up, Eyes Forward to honor a loved one. Later this month, the family will open their brick and mortar store on Main Street in Danville, hoping to spread the company’s message even further. In 2020, Susan and Mark Moss and their son Landon began the brand to honor their son and brother Ryan, who passed away after a hiking accident in 2016 at the age of 24.  The inspiration for their company and merchandise comes from a painting that Ryan made for his brother for encouragement that has the image of a man with the words “head up, eyes forward.”
