When classes get into the low 90s. We become very concerned with the well being of our students and staff after numerous complaints were voiced to us because of heat. With the extreme heat we decided we better air on the side of caution. Reporter the schools effected are bran ham, lee, del mar, prospect, westmont, and three alternative high schools. The district is canceling most Outdoor Activity and moving them inside. Classes are not only shortened tea, the district has decided to do the same tomorrow. They will reassess the situation to figure out if friday should be shortened as well. The main concern is trying to prevent heat related illness which is what city officials in morgan hill are trying to do as well. You can see yep they just opened up the doors. Were going to try to see you know as the morning goes on if anybody is coming here to use it as a cooling center because right now its still really pretty comfortable im ....
