in the united states, and up to 200,000 americans could die from covid-19. now the, the federal government s focus seems to be the so-called hot zones on the east coast, the cdc issuing a strict advisory for people here in new york, new jersey, and connecticut to halt all non-essential travel. this is after president trump publicly tleped a full quarantine of the threatened the full quarantine of the three states. other states have taken measures into their own hands seeking out travelers from places like new york and ordering them to quarantine and shelter in place. just last hour, new york governor andrew cuomo reiterated a stark warning that he has given many times before. we need to fight this together. because new york may just be the canary in the coal mine. let s get into some of this. i want to start in washington, joining me, shannon, and dr. irwin red lehner. shannon, only last week the president said he wanted the country up and running by easter sunday. that has
