Great folks in americas First District and that is a true privilege. I have the opportunity also to and blessing live close enough to where i get to travel home each evening. I get to ask myself the question going home, going past folks homes that i have known all my life and can ask them ask myself the question, what would they say if i knocked on their door tonight and ask them how things when today . Would they say things are going well or things could be going better. That is the connection that is important. As i listen to folks across the district, i hear some common themes. They are argument about having a strong defense, making sure that we support our brave men and women in uniform. Making sure that we have a strong economy, making sure that there are jobs not just today but jobs for our future and that is emphasizing career and Technical Education as much as we do college education. Making sure we are taking care of our veterans, the brave men and women who served our nation.
