#STUDY: GEN-Z is just not that into intimacy! | KISSFMRGV

By www.iHeartToby.com Apr 26, 2021 A recent study found American adults between the ages of 18 and 23 are having 14% less “casual sex” than people their age a decade ago. There’s also plenty of Gen Zers that are opting out of sex completely. Here are some reasons these voluntarily celibate - AKA volcels - folks gave VICE for their reason why. ● Self-Esteem. Just because there’s more acceptance in the world doesn’t make Gen Z immune to body issues. Take 24-year-old Kero for example. She chose to take herself off the market three years ago due to a lack of self-esteem. She’s only just now starting to consider sex again but this time around she “only wants to be with a man who has earned [her] trust, who worships the ground [she] walks on, who honors and respects [her].”

Cleaning Can Help Boost Your Brain Health | 97.1 WASH-FM

By @TobyChilliShow Apr 21, 2021 Procrastinating on your spring cleaning? You may want to pick up that mop and get busy because new research finds doing household chores is good for our brains. It turns out, tasks like washing dishes, doing laundry, and working in the yard can actually boost brain health. In the from Baycrest Hospital’s Rotman Research Institute in Toronto, researchers gave participants a health evaluation, brain imaging, and a cognitive test to check mental capacities. The results show that older adults who regularly do housework have larger brains - which is a strong predictor of cognitive health. And those who spent more time on chores had bigger brains, regardless of how much exercise they do.
